Enjoy a one-week stay in a Chestnut Flats cabin in Waynesville, NC.
The Chestnut Flats cabin is a two-bedroom, two-bath cabin with a screened-in porch. The cabin is well appointed with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. A short walk down the hill from the cabin brings you to the Chestnut Flats pavilion, a large gathering place with a huge fireplace. At sunset, stand by the pavilion railing and watch the elk saunter into the meadow to eat apples from our apple tree. Early in the morning, grab your fishing rod and do some fishing in the pond. Or put on your hiking boots and explore the miles of hiking trails we have on the mountain. Want something more challenging? We share a property line with the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and their miles and miles of trails. A short drive from downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley and a 40-minute drive from Asheville, you will get a sense of seclusion without being too remote.
